It's summer here and there are a lot of wild flowers on the road.
peace and calm
We arrived north of Iceland yesterday and now stay in Akureyri IH, excellently equiped. Akureyri is the capital in the north of Iceland. The temperature today is 19 deg C, so warm.
There is no high mountain here but hills. Yet they are covered with snow as Iceland is 66 degree north and so we are now enjoying 24 hours daytime.
We spend hours in the Botanical Garden as there are many many highland flowers we have never seen before, feeling full as I have used up all my 4 1-gb cards^^
As wifi is commonly used here and today we buy a wireless usb adapter, think that it will be useful in the later journey^^
chemistryman is calling from the kitchen, dinner time^^

wow, 24 hr sunshine, does it feel like u won't want to go to sleep
The sun rises around 5:30am and sets at 9pm here. And you have 24 hours sunshine. Sunshine makes you feel much happier, doesn't it?
